Isles of Sea and Sky Guide

Achievements Guide

Quick answer

There are 21 achievements. Only one, Power Napper, is not part of 100%: just stand still for a cumulative hour. Nothing in the game is missable — every star, gem and secret can be collected later.

There are 21 achievements in Isles of Sea and Sky, and effectively all of them come from simply playing — collect stars, wake the four spirits, finish the hunt. Nothing is missable, and only one is not part of 100%: Power Napper.

The four spirits

Waking each great spirit needs six matching elemental gems; each wake-up is an achievement:

  • Rock and Roll — earth elementals, Stoney Cliffs
  • Slip and Slide — water elementals, Tidal Reef
  • Turn and Burn — fire elementals, Raging Volcano
  • Huff and Puff — ice elementals, Frozen Spire (the wind spirit sits at the island's centre; you need bird access to get there)

Stars, runes, gems

AchievementThreshold
Starman Junior25 stars
Starman50 stars
Starman Deluxe100 stars
Final Starman120 stars — everything, including the Mysterious Update's 11 new stars
Master of RunesAll six rune stones (upgrades and runes)
GemologistCollect twelve gems of each elemental colour — obsidian does not count

The Mysterious Update trio

The post-game collectibles have their own tiers:

  • Insight — 10 pyramidions collected
  • Illumination — 20 pyramidions collected
  • Enlightenment — all 30 pyramidions (full guide)

The odd one out: Power Napper

Power Napper has nothing to do with 100% completion: spend a cumulative one hour doing nothing — the game tracks idle time across your whole save. The community's practical advice: do it deliberately, parked somewhere safe, ideally while a real-world hour passes. If you play in long calm sessions it will happen on its own.

FAQ

Can I miss any achievement? No. Every collectible, star and island can be revisited after the credits, and meta puzzles regenerate if you fail them.

Do I need the Mysterious Update achievements for "100%"? Only if your definition of 100% includes the post-game layer. The base-game completion (109 stars and the original collectibles) does not touch the pyramidion hunt.
